For a long while now, friends and family have encouraged me to blog my experience dieting and working out. I hold a degree in Exercise Science, I’ve worked with college level athletes, trained under a Russian Olympic coach, lost weight, gained weight and helped others to do the same. I’m convinced that the surest way I can help others is just to publicly and openly implement a diet plan and workout program. I’ll post current pictures, stats, update photos, workouts, and diet.
This is the perfect time to start since I haven’t worked out for about six months. Like everyone else, I indulged over the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years holidays. Most importantly, I’m juggling severe work and graduate school requirements. Like many of you, I don’t have time to hang out in a gym looking beautiful. Basically, I’m an average American with a lot of knowledge and experience with diet and exercise. Therefore, I’m going to blog my march to fitness and let everyone who wishes to watch and ask questions.
Exercise is a wonderful gift. It is a way that we enjoy our world and increase our quality of life. Imagine physical chores becoming easy because you don’t have to push your belly out of the way. Imagine feeling light on your feet and energetic all day long. Imagine enjoying what you never could before because you are healthy enough to hike, climb, and keep up with your kids. Imagine being exited about the future because you are and will be in wonderful shape. Imagine not being afraid of age; instead, confident in your health. These are just a few treasures of exercise. Let’s do it!
Just one reminder; before you start, get the green light from your doctor.
